Land Rover have changed supplier on this compressor. The modification requires re mounting the unit and re-programming of the ECU. This incurs both extra cost and time.This compressor is a direct replacement for the OE compressor that was fitted by the factory from new. They are made in Japan by Hitachi.By using the original brackets and pipes they are easy to install. The relay, which is included, must also be replaced. There is no need to re-program the ECU (although fault codes may need to be cleared)
