The EAS system fitted to P38 Range Rovers and the rear of Discovery 2 can be expensive to repair and not especially reliable when heavily laden. Eliminating the costly components, coil conversion kits offer an economical repair or upgrade. When fitted with the relevant springs significantly increased load carrying can be achieved.All P38 Range Rovers were fitted with an air suspension system which at the time was regarded as state of the art, providing high levels of comfort. The P38 has generally stood the test of time with a loyal band of supporters keeping them roadworthy and in good shape. The cost of repairing sophisticated systems can be unviable but with an air to coil spring conversion kit all the potential expense is dealt with in one go. The springs have been developed to match the standard ride height with a HD package giving a 1 inch lift from standard height and a greater capacity for increased loads.The kit includes instructions & everything necessary to isolate the electronics, eliminate unwanted dash lights & all the hardware to convert to coil springs. There are also kits that include uprated shock absorbers.
